Quakers In Transition is an online project of the New England Yearly Meeting Earthcare Ministries Committee. Our goal is to support Friends working in the Transition Movement. Gathering strength from our faith tradition, we seek to work with our neighbors and address the challenges of peak oil, climate change, and a dysfunctional global economy with courage, creativity, and a positive vision for our communities. …And Introductory Workshops

Quakers In Transition activists Steve Chase and Ruah Swennerfelt have already given introductory Transition talks and led introductory workshops to yearly, quarterly, and monthly meetings, as well as at Quaker retreat centers. Other Quakers In Transition, as well as non-Quaker Transition organizers, are also likely available to offer introductory talks and workshops hosted by Friends. We will be compiling a growing list of speaker and introductory workshop facilitators on this webpage as this network develops. Please contact us if you would like to be added to this growing list:
