Quakers In Transition is an online project of the New England Yearly Meeting Earthcare Ministries Committee. Our goal is to support Friends working in the Transition Movement. Gathering strength from our faith tradition, we seek to work with our neighbors and address the challenges of peak oil, climate change, and a dysfunctional global economy with courage, creativity, and a positive vision for our communities. Are you a Quaker in Transition? Would you like to be? If so, scroll down this webpage, check out the pull down menus, and access resources, blog posts, and interactive networking tools that can help you in your Transition journey.
We are the Unprogrammed Friends in the Philippines (UFP). We can be found on Facebook (Pinoy Quakers). Thank you for establishing the Quakers in Transition. We would like to cooperate.
This is wonderful news. Perhaps you could write some guest blogs about Transition-like, or Transition efforts in the Philippines–or how Quakers there are involved or could be. If this interests you, please write me at schase@antioch.edu. Also, please let us know if there is any way that this website and other Quakers involved in Transition efforts might be helpful for you. Thanks for taking the time to write us.
P.S. You may also want to subscribe to our blog. This is quick and free and it sends you a notice whenever a new blog post is posted online.
Got questions, ideas, announcements, or suggestions? Want to introduce yourself? If so, please contact Steve Chase or Ruah Swennerfelt. We are your Quakers In Transition website coordinators and we would love to hear from you.
